PETER DOHERTY, the songwriter and former frontman of The Libertines and Basbyshambles, will play the Róisín Dubh on Thursday October 15 as part of the Heineken Green Spheres.
Doherty released his debut solo album Grace/Wastelands this spring. Some of the songs had been performed live or were circulated on bootlegs over the years. The remainder were written in Wiltshire and Paris, and recorded in Olympic Studios in London with The Smiths and Blur producer Stephen Street.
