Rent the Runway is pleased to announce the appointment of a new leadership team at its Galway site, strengthening the company’s technology, engineering and people strategy in Ireland.
Led by Stephanus Meiring, Site Lead, Managing Director and VP Engineering, the team comprises Mark Walsh, Director of Engineering, Cloud & Software Delivery, who brings extensive expertise in scalable platforms and software delivery excellence; Niamh Rooney, HR Business Partner for Technology and the Galway site, supporting talent development and organisational growth and Siobhán Dervan, Director of Engineering, Corporate Systems, leading the evolution of critical enterprise systems.
Together, the new leadership team will play a key role in advancing Rent the Runway’s innovation, strengthening its engineering capabilities, and reinforcing Galway’s position as a strategic technology hub for the company.
Rent the Runway established its European technology hub in Galway in April 2019 and is based in the refurbished Piscatorial School in the heart of the historic Claddagh area of the city.
The Galway office is Rent the Runway’s first international office outside the US and enables the company to expand its Software engineering, product development, machine learning and data science footprint.
