With a career spanning more than two decades, award-winning artist Paddy Casey returns to Monroe's Live on Saturday, March 8, with doors opening at 8pm.
Born and raised in Dublin, Paddy Casey honed his craft busking on Grafton Street. It was not long before he caught the attention of Sony Music Ireland, releasing his debut album, Amen (So Be It ), in 1999.
His career has taken him across the globe, touring with acts like The Pretenders, R.E.M., Ian Brown, Blondie, and Tracy Chapman.
His follow-up album, Living (2003 ), became one of the bestselling albums in Irish history, with hits like Saints and Sinners and The Lucky One.
Casey’s third album, Addicted To Company, Part 1, saw him expanding his horizons with performances on The Late Show with David Letterman in the US. This era also marked a turning point for Paddy, as he decided to leave his record label to embrace creative freedom.
His live performances are marked by a strong connection to his audience.
The night does not stop there, DJ, Will Softly, takes to the decks at Monroe’s Late Night Venue event from 11pm onwards.
A Galway man, his career spans decades, taking him from Electric Picnic, Body and Soul to Treasure Beach in Jamaica.
Known for his eclectic sets and signature purple hat, he will keep the dancefloor alive well into the night. His passion for music ensures a high-energy atmosphere, making Monroe’s the ultimate destination for late-night revellers this Saturday.
