The team at The Connacht Hotel has successfully raised an impressive €19,000 in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI ), their chosen charity partner for 2024. Through a series of engaging fundraising events, the hotel staff, with the generous support of the local community, have demonstrated their commitment to making a difference.
Continuing their strong tradition of charity fundraising, The Connacht Hotel organised a diverse range of events throughout the year, each spearheaded by dedicated members of staff across the entire company. Among the standout events were a hugely successful ‘Walk in Pink,’ a lively Tea Dance, an exciting Fashion Show, a fun-filled Quiz Night, and many other initiatives that encouraged participation and generosity from both guests and the local community.
Speaking about the achievement, David O Connor, General Manager of The Connacht Hotel, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support: “We are incredibly proud of our staff for their dedication and enthusiasm in raising funds for such a worthy cause. Their hard work and the generosity of our guests and the wider community have made this possible. Supporting NBCRI and the invaluable research they conduct is something that means a great deal to us.”
