Fiat Ireland has confirmed that the new Fiat Grande Panda is due to arrive in Ireland in early April.
The electric version of the Grande Panda will arrive first, followed shortly after by the hybrid version.
The new model is equipped with an integrated AC retractable cable at the front (in addition to the rear charging port ), completing a charge from 20 to 80 per cent in over four hours. As an alternative to the retractable cable setup, a rear-only 11 kW charging port can be chosen, which cuts recharging time by over a hour.
With a 44 kWh battery and an 83 kW e-motor, the electric Grande Panda has a maximum speed of 132km/h and goes from 0-100 km/h in 11 seconds.
The Hybrid version is equipped with a turbo 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine.
The electric version comes in two configurations: Grande Panda 'La Prima', and the (Grande Panda ) Red. The latter features distinctive design elements such as the 16-inch white steel wheels and the 'RED' logo on the B-pillar.
The Fiat Grande Panda electric has a 361-litre boot.
For the hybrid, there is the entry level 'Pop' trim. This is complete with ADAS, manual air conditioning, a 10-inch cluster, automatic eDCT, Electric Parking Brake (EPB ) and connected services through the dedicated smartphone station. The next trim level is 'Icon' and the top level is the 'La Prima'.
Full details of specifications and pricing for the Irish market will be available closer to launch.
