Let there be slime

Ten Ton Slug

Ten Ton Slug

Galway's own sludge-metal riff-mongers Ten Ton Slug will celebrate the launch of their well-received debut album Colossal Oppressor on bank holiday Sunday, February 2, at 7pm, downstairs at the Róisín Dubh.

Last year was a busy one for these musical molluscs, after the band completed a run of national and international shows including festival appearances in Britain, and the band's first run of shows in North America. With these slimy tours behind them, Ten Ton Slug promises a very special hometown show in celebration of its return.

Support on the night comes from Galway folk-metal newcomers Clagarnac who celebrate the release of their latest single 'Troidimís', alongside Midlands-based heavy-metal outfit Lazarus Brother.

Tickets €15/13.50 on the door, or from www.RoisinDubh.net
