Don’t let your pelvic floor hold you back this year

A new year brings new goals and new exercise plans. Forty four per cent of women will experience urinary incontinence with running — it is common but not normal.

Orlaith Kilgannon, specialist physiotherapist in pelvic health at Pelvic Health West, provides holistic and evidence-based physiotherapy to manage and prevent symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction such as urinary or bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain or pelvic organ prolapse. In line with scientific research, Ms Kilgannon will provide you with a personal plan based on your assessment to work towards your goals with many seeing significant improvements in just 12 weeks.
