THE INISHBOFIN singer-songwriter Peadar King will perform songs from his debut album The Nature Of Flaws, in Cuba*, Eyre Square, this Saturday at 8pm.
In 2004 he began his first music project, a band called Cornerstone. They gigged widely and enjoyed a good following but in early 2007, they went separate ways.
Peadar went to France for six months where he continued to write and perform, while returning sporadically to Galway to record The Nature Of Flaws on which many of the musicians he had worked with in the past featured.
He released the album independently in July. Since then he has toured with his new band, featuring former Cornerstone members Orla Gibbons (vocals ) and Michael Curran (bass ), as well as Tom Portman (Dobro, lap steel, and guitars ) and Cormac Dunne (drums and percussion ).
