Tom Meighan of Kasabian fame

Former powerhouse lead singer of Kasabian, Tom Meighan, will take to the stage at Monroe’s Live, on Thursday, December 5.

Meighan’s voice is integral to hits like ‘Fire,’ ‘Club Foot,’ and ‘Shoot the Runner,’ all songs that catapulted the band to fame.

During his years with Kasabian, Meighan headlined major festivals across Europe, including Glastonbury, Reading, and Leeds, collecting awards from NME, Q, Mojo, and a BRIT.

A widely publicised setback led to his departure from the band, plunging him into what he describes as the lowest years of his life. Through marriage, therapy, and time away, Meighan found his way back to music and himself.

In 2023, he released his debut solo album, The Reckoning, created with new collaborators and filled with songs that reveal a deeper, more introspective side to the once-wild rock star who recently toured with Noel Gallagher.

His newer songs have a mature edge, while still channelling the stadium-sized choruses and driving riffs that made him a star.
