This is an intimate evening with one of Ireland’s most beloved bands, offering a rare glimpse into their music stripped down to its acoustic bones.
With hundreds of songs in their back pocket, the Cork band will treat fans to iconic hits like ‘After All’, ‘Fashion Crisis Hits New York’, ‘How Can I Exist’ and ‘Landslide.’
Each song reveals a different chapter in the band’s journey, and Paul Linehan will share the stories and anecdotes behind these songs, giving fans insight into the vibrant, sometimes surreal, world of a legendary touring band.
Founded in Cork in 1989, The Frank and Walters carved out a unique space in the Irish indie music scene, with their quirky, upbeat sound. Named after two eccentric Cork characters, they achieved breakthrough success in the early Nineties with their debut album Trains, Boats and Planes.
By 1993, they were gracing stages alongside Radiohead, and performed ‘After All’ on BBC’s Top of the Pops.
Their later material has fresh energy, delivering favourites like ‘Grand Parade’ and ‘Beauty Becomes More Than Life.’
