Monroe’s gets grungey

The Seattle Grunge Experience will rock Monroe’s Live next Saturday, November 9, at 8pm.

The raw, powerful era of early Nineties grunge will come to life with a tribute act that authentically recreates the genre’s four biggest bands: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains.

The early 1990s was a revolutionary period in grunge music, with groundbreaking bands emerging from the underground scene in the Pacific Northwest, bringing with them a new sound.

The Seattle Grunge Experience was born out of a deep respect for this pivotal moment in music history, ensuring that these iconic bands and their unforgettable songs are heard just as they were meant to be: back-to-back, in all their gritty, emotional glory.

This tribute act captures the essence of the grunge movement, delivering the visceral punk energy of Nirvana, the spiritual depth of Pearl Jam, the technical prowess of Soundgarden, and the haunting, edgy darkness of Alice in Chains.

The Seattle Grunge Experience also pays homage to those seminal MTV Unplugged sessions that revealed the genre to a global audience.

This is a show for both hardcore grunge devotees and more casual listeners.
