Tesla has introduced a seven-seat option for the Model Y, which is an additional extra for €2,500 on the Long-Range All Wheel Drive version of the brand's best-seller.
Compared to a Model Y five-seater, this new cabin configuration offers a third row with two forward-facing seats, which can fold flat to create 753-litres of storage. With all seven seats up there is still 363-litres of space.
Access to the third row is easy thanks to ingress buttons located on the backrest of each second row outside seat. When pressed, the second row slides forward and folds, allowing easy step-in and step-out.
Once seated, third row passengers have comfortable headroom thanks to their positioning under the rear glass and can charge their mobile devices with two USB-C outlets.
The seven-seat option is now available to order exclusively on the Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive, with prices here starting from €55,897.
