Monroe’s is gearing up for a whole day of rock and nostalgia this Saturday, October 12, with two exciting events.
Rediscover the dance floor with Club 30+ from 6pm, or rock out to the high-energy sounds of The Amazing Apples from 11pm.
Kicking off the night until 10pm is Club 30+, the ultimate event for those aged 30 and over, offering an evening clubbing experience that’s filled with throwback anthems from the Eighties, Nineties and Noughties.
Having sold out numerous shows in Cork, this exciting event is back once again in Galway.
Organiser Eoin Aher explains the idea behind the event: “When we hit our 30s, late-nights out can be hard to come by due to kids, work, or the feeling that clubs are ‘too young.’ Club 30+ is here to reclaim your weekend, offering a chance to dance the evening away to the best music you can actually move to, with the added bonus of getting home early enough to enjoy the rest of your night.”
From slow sets featuring hits by Celine Dion and Robbie Williams, to crowd-pleasing anthems, Club 30+ promises an eclectic mix of music for those looking to let loose, reminisce, and reconnect with old friends.
This fun-filled event wraps up in time for you to grab a bite and relax before the end of the night.
For those ready to keep the party going, Galway’s beloved indie folk rock band The Amazing Apples will take the stage at Monroe’s Live from 11pm, delivering a high-energy performance that spans genres from Irish and Americana to dance and heavy rock.
This multi-instrumentalist five-piece has made waves both at home and internationally, sharing the stage with heavyweights like Mumford and Sons, The Coronas, and Gavin James.
Known for their rousing live shows, The Amazing Apples are a tour de force on the Irish music scene, having played prominent festivals such as Electric Picnic and Sea Sessions.
If you’ve never experienced the energy of The Amazing Apples live, this is your chance to see why they’ve built a reputation as one of Ireland’s must-see acts.
Support on the night comes from Rawley, and DJ Corey will be spinning top tunes in the Backstage Venue, keeping the party going until late.
