Theo Mac an Ghearr achieved the top marks of 625 points in this year's Leaving Cert.

Coláiste an Eachréidh is brimming with pride as students have achieved remarkable results in this year’s Leaving Certificate examinations. Over 40 per cent of students received more than 500 points, placing them among the top-performing students in the country. Among them, Theo Mac an Ghearr achieved the top marks of 625 points.

Deputy principal Seán Ó Mainnín expressed immense pride in the entire school community. "Our students have shown remarkable perseverance, and their success is a reflection of their dedication and the support from their families, teachers, and the wider school community," he said. "This year’s results are not just a personal triumph for our students but a collective achievement for everyone involved in their education.

"Teachers across all departments played a crucial role in guiding students through their studies. The use of online resources, combined with a diverse range of teaching methods, provided a comprehensive learning experience that prepared students well for their exams. The entire school community wishes the Leaving Cert class of 2024 the very best in their future endeavours. We are confident that they will continue to excel in their future pursuits.
