The South Galway Bay Music Festival is set to return for its third year from Friday, July 26, to Sunday, July 28.
This will be three nights of music hosted by Ballinderreen GAA Club, featuring a line-up suitable for all ages, and a screening of the Galway v Armagh All-Ireland Senior Football Championship decider on the Sunday.
Headliners include The Whistlin’ Donkeys, Johnny Brady, Derek Ryan, Olivia Douglas, Clodagh Lawlor, Gavin Gribben, and Jack Keogh.
There will be outdoor dancefloor with all-weather covers, food trucks and a fully licensed bar. A festival bus will run from Oranmore, Gort and Kinvara.
Festival proceeds will go to toward the development of a new multipurpose gym facility for the GAA club.
“The South Galway Bay Music Festival is fast becoming one of the highlights of the summer calendar in Galway,” says festival organiser Mattie Larkin. “The 2023 festival was a testament to the resilience and enthusiasm of our attendees and performers, and 2024 promises to be even bigger and better.”
Youth tickets from €15, adults from €25, with a €50 two-night Country Music pass available. Under-12s go free.
