City busker to play summer festivals

Johnluke Reynolds

Johnluke Reynolds

A young, Shop Street busker from Co Galway is hoping to to follow in the footsteps of other successful acts from around his native Loughrea as festival bookings roll in.

Johnluke Reynolds, from Tynagh, has been inspired by local acts such as Ulton Conlon, The Amazing Apples, The Clockworks, EVØKE and The Rosecaps.

His pop-country-folk fusion can be heard on his recently released second single called ‘Change Me’, about possibilities and toxic relationships.

If you’re a fan of Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs and Mumford and Sons then Johnluke is a must add to your playlists. ‘Change Me’ follows his debut single ‘Already Been Told’ produced by Galway’s Dave Skelton.

Johnluke will play next at the Riverfest festival, Shannon Bridge, Co Offaly on June 29. He will share the stage with fellow Galway artists Niall Tarmey, The Rosecaps, with Cork’s LYRA headlining the evening.
