Sharondipity on Dominick Street

"Talented wench" Sharon Mannion

"Talented wench" Sharon Mannion

“There she is now, the talented wench,” is the sterling review comic Deidre O’Kane gave of fellow comedienne Sharon Mannion who plays the Róisín Dubh this Sunday, July 21, at 7.30pm.

Fresh from supporting Emma Doran, Neil Delamere and the generous O’Kane, Mannion will bring her solo show Sharondipity to the Upper Dominick Street venue.

From mourning Fungie the Dolphin and refusing to bounce back after having kids, to gawping at Americans, and a one-woman 32-county mini musical, Sharon takes the audience on a hop-on hop-off tour of her own brain in a jam-packed, electric-paced comedy extravaganza.

Best known for her role as ‘Concepta’ in the RTÉ hit comedy ‘Bridget & Eamon’, Mannion is the resident host of the Comedy Cellar at Dublin’s International Bar, Ireland’s longest running comedy club. She has appeared at comedy festivals throughout Ireland and beyond, including the Iveagh Gardens, Kilkenny Cat Laughs, and Galway Comedy Festival.
