Ground Control comes to Galway to recruit local field teams

External maintenance and biodiversity experts, Ground Control is coming to Galway in July to meet with and hire local field teams, specifically ground maintenance, arboriculture and winter gritting teams, as part of their recent expansion into the Irish market, with 150 roles in total to be filled across the island of Ireland.

Ground Control delivers a range of external maintenance and energy solutions services; including grounds maintenance, winter gritting, arboriculture, solar, and electric vehicle charging point installation, amongst other products and services. In doing so, the company utilises its technology-enabled approach to guide clients on their path to carbon reduction and biodiversity gains.

The company is looking to collaborate with local Galway-based ground maintenance companies, both SMEs and micro businesses, to deliver a sustainability-led product offering and one that supports public- and private-sector clients on their decarbonisation journeys. Working with Ground Control, local field teams will benefit from Ground Control’s in-house expertise, technology infrastructure, brand assets, and training resources to support their business growth, while Ground Control’s customers can be assured that they are hiring the most eco-friendly and environmentally-minded option available in the Irish market.

According to Ground Control’s country director for Ireland, Declan O’Gorman, they have ambitious plans to expand our operations in Galway, and having recently signed a number of exciting new contracts, are looking to hire local field teams across the county.

“If you are a micro business or SME working in the ground maintenance, arboriculture or winter gritting fields, we want to work with you, whether you are a one-man operation, or a crew of five or six.

“We strive to empower our local field-based teams through our unique and agile business model, which involves close collaboration with existing field-based companies, leveraging our extensive expertise, scale, and experience to support our operations, secure new contracts, enhance our overall sustainability expertise, and accelerate local business growth,” he said.
