Siobhán Ní Ghadhra held her first board meeting last week as the newly appointed Chairperson of Údarás na Gaeltachta.
"It is a great honour for me to take on this role," said Chairperson Ní Ghadhra. "I look forward to working with the board and staff of Údarás na Gaeltachta to promote sustainable development of our Gaeltacht communities."
The new Chairperson will focus on economic development, language preservation, and community sustainability as the main priorities of her term.
