Record label to throw reunion party

The Citóg Records Summer Reunion takes place upstairs in Róisín Dubh on Saturday, July 20, from 8pm.

Music-lovers and friends new and old are invited to reminisce about the good ol’ days over a few pints while enjoying live music from the inimitable Eoin Dolan, Kowalski and their Special Guests.

Whether you attended a Citóg gig in the Róisín Dubh, The Cellar, or De Burgo’s over the past 15 years, or came along to one of the compilation album launches, played bass in a band that performed at one of Citóg’s nights, or you are just a fan of grass-roots local music, the Citóg Records crew say they want to see you there so they can say a proper thank you for years of support.

Citóg Records was a music collective from Galway which organised gigs, released an annual compilation of songs and put on fundraisers for local community charities such as The Melting Pot Luck, COPE Galway, Amach LGBT, Let’s Get Talking and Galway Simon Community.

Notable acts that were part of the Citóg Records family include New Pope, The Clockworks, Rural Savage, Majestic Bears, Steven Sharpe, Whim, Padraig Jack, Harrison & The Devil, The Depravations, Tracy Bruen, The Followers Of Otis, and many more.
