Petworld Ltd in Terryland, Galway, has been a favourite for pet owners since it opened five years ago. The company has gone from strength to strength, and although many companies are looking to downsize due to the economy, Petworld is looking to the future.
“We know that people will always love their pets and we are determined that our standards will stay high and offer our customers the best possible care for their pets,” the company said in a statement this week. “We have recently opened a grooming studio in our Athlone store and it has been very successful.”
Ailish, the newly qualified groomer in Athlone said: “Being given the opportunity to work for Petworld is wonderful. The welcome I received was so warming, it reassured me that I was moving in the right direction. So far the grooming studio has been a flying success, with bookings coming at a fast rate. The feedback from our customers has been so positive. Working in Petworld has given me the chance to do what I love and also the opportunity to increase my knowledge of animal care in a practical setting having spent two years learning it in theory, and I love the security of having a job.”
Petworld is now looking for a qualified groomer for Petworld Galway. The studio is ready and the company has had a number of queries and is looking for the right person to join the team.
