Galway Confidential unconcealed online

Galway’s hard boiled writer of detective fiction Ken Bruen has had his latest offering, Galway Confidential, included in internet giant Amazon’s ‘2024 Best Book of the Year So Far’.

The Bohermore man’s 18th detective book recounts whiskey-swigging investigator Jack Taylor’s enquiries into violent attacks on nuns from a Galway convent. The assaults occurred while Taylor was in a coma, during which time his native Galway city has utterly transformed over the Covid19 pandemic.

Taylor may have transformed too, and not likely for the better...

Bruen has previously won the Best Series award from the Crime Writers Association, and Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen starred in a TV adaption of Jack Taylor from 2010 to 2016.

Galway Confidential, published by Mysterious Press, is available online and in all good bookshops.
