The world premiere of a groundbreaking opera, Mr President, will take place in the Town Hall Theatre on Friday, June 21 at 7pm.

This opera will include performances and visual projections by adults with intellectual disability from the That’s Life arts programme, accompanied by the young musicians of Limerick’s Ceol na Mara Youth Orchestra, and renowned mezzo-soprano Catherine Donnelly.

The original music for the show is composed and performed by WhistleBlast Quartet, participants from That's Life music programme, the band Electric Dreams, and the Gamelan Ensemble.

That’s Life is an award-winning arts and personal development program of the Brothers of Charity Services in Galway. It offers opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to discover and realise their artistic potential.
