Ghundi launch new EP with An Pucán gig

GALWAY PUNK/hardcore band Ghundi will launch their second EP Bang Bang Heavy Heavy with a show in An Pucán, Forster Street, on Saturday at 8.30pm.

The EP was recorded in Abhaile Studios, Ballinrobe with Peadar Carney in April, and according to Colin, “it’s eight tracks of controlled chaos and mischievous mayhem with political and personal lyrics barbed with jet black humour”.

Support comes from Karaktermoord (Dutch crust/hardcore band ), Slave Zero (death metal ), Sort It Out (hardcore/punk ), Castero (stoner metal ), Raised To The Ground (metal/thrash ), and AntiTrust (hardcore ).

The gig is being organised by UsVsThem and admission is €8. Bang Bang Heavy Heavy will be available from Zhivago Records on Monday. See www.myspace.com/ghundighundi
