Citroen reveals new seven-seater C3 Aircross

Citroen has revealed the new seven-seat C3 Aircross for the B-segment, which joins its C3 supermini and electric e-C3 siblings.

According to Citroen, the new C3 Aircross comes with more interior space with up to seven seats, an expanded range of engine options - including hybrid and fully-electric - and the same level of onboard comfort.

Pricing for Ireland hasn't been confirmed, but this will be shared closer to launch this summer.

Spanning a length of 4.39 metres, the new C3 Aircross incorporates Citroen's new brand identity signature, inspired by the Oli concept car. A highly verticalised front end displays the new Citroen logo while a two-tone roof breaks up the model. Colour clips on the bumpers and quarter-panels can be swapped to customise the look of the Aircross.

Citroen claims the new C3 Aircross has the longest wheelbase in its category, allowing for more legroom for rear passengers. Its vertical rear end is also said to provide ample space for occupants in the third row.

The French marque says its new model is "full of tricks to make family life easier by offering great usage flexibility". It also says the new C3 Aircross "is an easy-to-live-with SUV" and "remains very compact for easy manoeuvring and stress-free parking."

A "serene onboard experience" awaits customers, with the new C3 Aircross boasting "all the equipment and technologies expected" in this segment. According to Citroen, the new model promises a raised ground clearance, favouring a high driving position that allows for better visibility.
