Folk's rising star Bury in Galway this weekend

Following the release of he debut album Yellow Roses last month, Niamh Bury will play the Róisín Dubh this Sunday, 21 April.

The date in Galway is part of six venue tour across Ireland, timed to coincide with the release of Bury’s new single ‘Budapest’ via Claddagh Records.

“I'm very excited to get on the road in April and share these songs in some really nice venues around the country," says Bury.

Ever since releasing her first single with Claddagh Records in July 2023, Bury has been hailed as one of Irish folk’s most exciting new talents; a particularly prestigious coup during a period when the genre is garnering so much attention around the world. The respected British music magazine Clash referred to Niamh as “The rising voice, breaking boundaries for Irish folk”, while The Sunday Times featured her on the cover of its Culture Magazine after her first single ‘Beehive’ was released.
