As preparations intensify for Ireland’s largest horse racing festival, the Galway Races (from Monday July 29 to Sunday August 4 ) for one action packed week, excitement mounts with the announcement of a new partnership with ‘Salthill Hotel’, located on the picturesque promenade in Galway city.
Salthill Hotel have signed a two-year sponsorship deal with Galway Racecourse to sponsor the eighth race on Saturday August 3, ‘The Salthill Hotel Irish European Breeders Fund Mares Flat Race’.
Commenting on the new sponsorship deal, Chief Executive of Galway Racecourse Michael Moloney welcomed the team from the Salthill Hotel onboard for the Summer Festival.
“The Salthill Hotel is a renowned well-known elegant hotel in the West of Ireland, located on the Prom offering breathtaking views of Galway Bay and the Clare Hills. The hotel is known for its superb quality of food and service, and for hosting many special occasions such as weddings and conferences, while also hugely popular for its first class leisure centre and gym,” he said.
“The Galway Races presents many great opportunities for sponsors to engage with a large audience and we look forward to working with the team in the Salthill Hotel on making their sponsoring a great success,” added Mr Moloney.
Commenting on their new two-year agreement, Lorna Muldoon, Byrne Hotel Group Manager said she looked forward to the partnership.
