Sano Hill is Galway's Van Morrison

Irish singer-songwriter Sano Hill has carved a niche for himself in the music industry for timeless acoustic guitar originals.

He brings his soul-stirring melodies to Monroe’s Live on Saturday, April 20, as part of the venue’s weekly ‘Isn’t It Midnight’ dual stage event.

Based in Galway, Hill's music has won critical acclaim for its originality and depth. His influences range from the iconic Elvis Costello to the songs of Nick Cave and Radiohead, woven together to create a unique sound.

In November 2023, Hill unveiled his debut album, If Not Now, When? to widespread acclaim. The album's opening track, 'Time Out', was lauded for its portrayal of Galway, drawing parallels to Van Morrison's poetic odes to Belfast.
