The charming duo of Matilda Lloyd and Alexandra Whittingham perform together in Galway for the first time on April 22 at the Station House Theatre, Clifden.
Matilda is fast becoming a leading soloist on the international stage, winning the hearts of audiences with her musicality and virtuosic technique. A gorgeously expressive guitarist, Alexandra has reached listeners worldwide, not only through a busy concert schedule and competition successes but also online, where her video performances of classical guitar repertoire have collectively surpassed 40 million views.
Together they will present a mesmerising selection of early music repertoire before transporting us to Spain with the sunshine filled music of Manuel de Falla. The programme will also feature a new Music Network commission by Dr. Greg Caffrey.
Enjoy the uplifting tones of trumpet and guitar and catch this stellar young duo while you can.
Tickets available on the door and the show starts at 8pm. For more information visit www.clifdenstationhouse.com/theatre/
