County Kerry comic Bernard Casey is special guest at this Friday’s Tigh He-He Comedy Club at the Róisín Dubh, March 22, at 8pm.

With sell-out shows across Ireland, London, New York and Boston, the drama teacher’s sketches have amassed over 15 million views and garnered him more than 130,000 social media followers.

Shannon Basso Gaule started his career in New Zealand in 2019 and won the Best Newcomer award from the NZ Comedy Guild in 2020. Since moving back home, he has gigged all over Ireland and Europe. Shannon is the resident host of Stand Up at Scraggs, a monthly show based in Carlow, and is co-host of the Acting the Maggot Podcast with Emman Idama.

Fresh from his stint conquering the Canadian comedy circuit, host on the night will be Galway’s own Cormac McGuinness. Cormac is best known for his work on the Dating Beyond Borders YouTube channel, with more than half a million views. He has performed in venues and festivals across the globe, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens Comedy Festival and Galway Comedy Festival.
