A special performance featuring Mark Morriss and Adam Devlin of the iconic Britpop band, The Bluetones, will take place at Monroe’s on Friday, April 26, at 8pm.

Formed in 1993 in Hounslow, The Bluetones captured the hearts of music lovers with songs like ‘Bluetonic’, ‘Slight Return’, ‘Marblehead Johnson’, ‘Solomon Bites The Worm’, ‘If’, and ‘Keep the Fires Burning’.

Many argue the Bluetones are far more than their ‘Britpop’ label suggests. Morriss’ unique and passionate voice, combined with Devlin’s soaring guitar riffs, draws inspiration from classic West Coast USA artists and beyond.

They solidified their status as indie-pop legends throughout the Noughties, earning thirteen Top 40 singles and three Top 10 albums in the British charts.

With this string of chart-toppers, they left an indelible mark on the music scene, gaining widespread international acclaim.

Last year, The Bluetones celebrated 25 years since the release of their certified-gold second album Return To The Last Chance Saloon, and embarked on a headline British tour.

Now, lead singer Mark Morriss and guitarist Adam Devlin will revisit their timeless hits with this acoustic set at the award-winning Monroe’s Live venue.

This performance promises to be an intimate and memorable experience for fans old and new.
