Mayor Eddie Hoare, has announced that the City’s annually anticipated Mayoral Ball will take place on Friday 26th April at The Galmont Hotel & Spa.
Beginning with a drinks reception in the hotel foyer at 6pm, guests will then enjoy a delectable formal dinner in the city centre hotel’s stunning Inis Mór Ballroom, before being whisked up into an elegant evening of dancing, live music and entertainment.
The five deserving charities which will benefit from the proceeds of this year’s Ball are: The National Breast Cancer Research Institute; Hopespace; The Galway Sick Kids Foundation; Blue Teapot Theatre Company; and Rosabel’s Rooms.
The Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr. Eddie Hoare said said he has enjoyed a truly brilliant year as Mayor of this wonderful city.
“This event is an opportunity to bring people of our community together and shine a light on these incredibly worthy charities who deserve all the support we’re able to give them in order to help them with their important work,” he said.
