Fresh from performing at The National Concert Hall, Cathy Jordan and Feargal Murray are bringing their celebration of the songs of Brendan Graham to Clonbur Community Center on Saturday, March 2, at 8pm.
Graham, a Joyce Country resident, is a songwriter and novelist, with his songs winning Eurovision twice, and three of his novels becoming international best sellers.
“I had never really thought about the songwriting process before, having sung mostly traditional songs with unknown authors,” says Jordan. “This collaboration, however, became one of the most important in my career. It was a mentorship and masterclass in songwriting, as well as a cherished friendship for many years.”
Singer Jordan will be accompanied by pianist Murray for a special fund-raising performance of Songbook for Clonbur Community Centre.
Special guests on the night will be B arney McC abe & Friends.
