Considered Ireland’s premier project-based vocal ensemble, Resurgam return to Galway this month to perform two fascinating composers from Tudor England.
On Sunday, February 25, the group will present choral music by Robert Whyte (b1538 ) and Christopher Tye (b1505, directed by Mark Duley, at St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church at 5pm. There will be a pre-performance talk at 4.30pm from Dr Andrew Johnstone, Assistant Professor of Music at Trinity College, Dublin.
University of Galway Choral Scholars will support Resurgam, whose new CD Gentleman Extraordinary is out now.
