Aisling Keogh, a candidate for Galway City Council in the upcoming 2024 elections, has announced the launch of a unique QR code initiative to hear directly from her community.
The QR code will be available on Aisling’s campaign materials and social media platforms, allowing residents of Galway City East to easily provide their input and express their needs and requirements for the area.
The QR code, once scanned, takes residents to a secure online form where they can input their thoughts and suggestions. This information will be analysed by Aisling and her team, and if elected to the City Council, she will use this data to address the specific needs of the community.
“As a candidate, I am committed to listening to the voices of my community and working to address their needs. I would ask for people in Galway City East to share this QR code widely,” said Aisling Keogh. “This innovative QR code initiative allows me to hear directly from the people and ensure that their concerns and priorities are at the forefront of my campaign.”
Aisling’s QR code initiative is part of her broader commitment to transparency, accountability, and community engagement. By using this technology, she is able to reach a wider audience and ensure that all residents have an opportunity to be heard.
“I am excited to see the responses from the community and I have already began my research in the background on various asks,” said Ms Keogh.
“This information will be invaluable in helping me understand the needs of Galway City East and to try to develop effective solutions to the challenges we face.”
She is an advocate for the use of technology and believes that this QR code initiative is just the beginning of her efforts to engage with her community in new and innovative ways however she will not leave out those who cannot access same and will make paper copies available to those who need it.To learn more about Aisling and her campaign, visit her website at aislingkeogh.com
