Kerry Ehrin will be the headline speaker at the 2024 FÍS TV Summit 2024 in Galway, Thursday, February 1.
Ehrin was famously the first screenwriter with whom Apple TV signed an overall deal. The multi-award-winning writer and producer is best known for her work on The Morning Show, Bates Motel, and Friday Night Lights.
A Welsh government delegation will also attend the event to observe film industry developments in Galway, and make a presentation on Cardiff's experience of attracting video game and TV companies from the creative sector.
The Summit will also feature case studies, a conversation on AI, and the annual pitching event where six finalists pitch their next great TV idea. The winner will be announced in the evening networking reception at the Hardiman Hotel.
Now in its 7th year, #FÍSTVSummit brings creatives from all sectors of the TV industry together to learn and connect with each other alongside a curated slate of international guests and experts.
The event is supported by TG4, Screen Ireland, Gréasán na Meán Skillnet, Coimisiún na Meán, Creative Europe Media Desk, ATU Galway City, National Talent Academy Film & TV, WRAP, the Welsh Government and Creative Wales.
