High Fade, the Scottish trailblazers of razor-sharp funk and disco, will bring their exhilarating show to Monroe’s Live on Saturday, February 17.
Blending the soulful influences of John Legend and Barry White with the classic rock vibes of Kiss and Motley Crue, this Edinburgh band create modern rhythmic grooves, funk and soul.
Currently on a tour of Britain and Ireland, the trio honed their skills busking before attracting a global online audience and launching a label, RPN Records.
Their proactive use of social media has created viral moments for tracks like 'Sharpen Up', 'Burnin', and 'Burnt Toast and Coffee'.
Comprising of Harry Valentino on guitar and vocals, Oliver Sentance on bass, and Calvin Davidson on drums and vocals, they’ve gained acclaim from luminaries such as Jack Black and Cypress Hill.
Featuring furious electric guitar riffs and lightning-speed percussion, their sound comes to life during powerful performances which also also embrace electronica, crossing genres to create a tangible connection to the dance scene, and crafting official remixes tailored for clubs.
