Internet sensation and dance music rising star Cassö will spin his set to audiences at Monroe's Live on Thursday, January 25, at 10pm.
Following the unprecedented success of his track 'Prada' the 21-year-old DJ and producer has quickly become a global sensation, marking his meteoric rise from a Welsh university DJ to an international artist.
His trance-infused remix of the 2020 hit ‘Ferrari Horses,’ featuring vocals from award-winning British singer Raye and rap group D-Block Europe, has taken the internet by storm. The track combines euphoric plucks, a powerful bassline, and a huge drop. It has catapulted Cassö into the limelight, with A-list celebs filmed grooving to his tunes online.
His innovative approach has not only caught the attention of music enthusiasts, but has also earned him a deal with the record label Sony Music.
'Prada' has achieved over 150 million streams on SoundCloud, a remarkable feat considering its humble beginnings as a track created on a university laptop for house parties in Swansea.
Now he is embarking on a tour across Ireland, Scotland, England, and further afield to Australia and Germany. Cassö is gearing up for a follow-up release in 2024 to match the success of his Ministry of Sound debut.
