Fresh from celebrating their first year in business last weekend, Blackrock Cottage in Salthill is all set for a busy month ahead as the countdown to Christmas begins.
The restaurant’s iconic location and the quality of food prepared by award-winning executive head chef, Martin O’Donnell, is proving to be a winning combination with bookings already flooding in for the festive season.
Blackrock Cottage is a very popular destination for Christmas parties and group get-togethers, with Martin designing a lovely seasonal set-menu, featuring lots of traditional festive dishes with a contemporary twist.
Some of the mains on the Christmas menu include: baked turkey and ham Wellington, an 8oz ribeye steak, Ali’s catch of the day, and hedgehog and puy lentils.
The dessert menu also features dishes like baked apple and mince pie crumble and signature After Eight chocolate fondant.
