Ohme becomes Polestar EV charging partner

Polestar, the high-performance brand from Volvo, has teamed up with Ohme to become its official electric vehicle charging partner in Ireland.

The agreement will see Polestar recommend Ohme chargers for all its sales supporting drivers who need an EV charging solution.

Ohme, based in Cork and London, says its dynamic smart chargers with their unique software are able to automatically adjust their charging for drivers to take advantage of all the times of low price charging with off-peak tariffs.

For example, charging a Polestar 2 Long range Single motor with a 78kWh battery and an Ohme smart charger on an off-peak electricity tariff could cost just €216.60 for driving 10,000km over a year.

Ohme has just been named as Fast Track Company of the Year in the 2023 Green Business Awards as well as Best Electric Charging Point Provider by Business Motoring.
