Galway City Partnership had a fantastic attendance at its event in the Connacht Hotel, Galway, which served as an educational platform for employers to hear about its project and to listen to some first-hand experiences from its clients.

Speakers included the Mayor of Galway City Eddie Hoare, Galway City Partnership CEO Linda Sice Brogan, The Galway Chamber CEO Kenny Deery, Project Co-Ordinator Maggie Woods, Project Employer Liaison Officer Sharon Doyle, Department of Social Protection Officer Yvonne Kenny and three of our clients who have gone through the process - Lisa Madden, Paul Cannon and Conall Lynch. Attendees also heard from two representatives from employers who are members of the project, Geraldine Dowling HR in CityLink and Garry Kendall represented Galway Aquarium.

The Inclusive Pathways to Employment project is a landmark initiative between Galway City Partnership and Galway Chamber, aimed at fostering diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workforce. This groundbreaking program is set to redefine the future of employment by providing equitable opportunities for all, regardless of background or circumstance.
