Galway tribute band Rage are back at Monroe’s Live on Dominick Street this October to re-ignite their incendiary blend of punk, metal and rap of the iconic Rage Against The Machine.
With ferocious, socially conscious lyrics and a powerful hard edge, this group of five experienced Galway musicians will bring their work to life at the award-winning venue on Friday, October 13, from 11pm.
Celebrating over 30 years since the launch of their self-titled debut album ‘Rage Against The Machine’, Rage are adding even more songs to their repertoire for this upcoming gig at Monroe’s Live.
“We can’t wait to get back to Monroe's in October,” they say, “and we have a few new absolute bangers to freshen up the set list. This will be epic!”
With Donal Gibbons on vocals, Fiachra Cradock and Stephen Monaghan on guitar, Dave Donoghue on bass and Eimhin Cradock on drums, Rage is a collective of Galway’s finest, with over 25 years’ experience on the music scene in different guises.
United by their passion and energy for the music of Rage Against The Machine, the band are back to bring the hard core rebellion of their heroes to the stage.
With hits like ‘Killing in the Name,’ ‘Bulls on Parade’ and ‘Sleep Now in the Fire’, Rage Against The Machine became one of the most influential and respected names in rock music.
Lead singer of Rage, Donal Gibbons is a lifelong fan: “They have always been a band who are not in it for success,” he explains, “Their music is such a dynamic combination of lyrics and meaning. They have inspired us all. The night will be loud, rocking, and powerful, covering all of their back catalogue.”
This will be a ferocious show.
Don’t miss your chance to re-live the atmosphere of a Rage Against The Machine concert with Rage at Monroe’s Live on Friday, October 13, from 11pm.
