This bakery traineeship course is delivered over 24 weeks in the new state of the art BIA Innovator Campus training kitchen in Athenry.

Trainees will cover a wide range of topics which will ensure that they build a solid foundation for a career in the baking industry. The course is designed to provide trainees with hands-on experience in the art of baking. You will work side by side with experienced bakers in a real bakery, gaining valuable skills and practical knowledge.

On successful completion of the programme trainees will receive a level 2 FDQ (Food & Drink Qualification, UK awarding body ) for proficiency in baking industry skills. This equates to a Level 4 qualification on the Irish QQI framework. From mastering the basics of breadmaking to creating intricate pastries, the comprehensive curriculum covers it all. You will leave the course with a well-rounded skill set.
