Host Karl Spain will be joined tonight by special guests Aideen McQueen and Shannon Basso Gaule.
Galway Comedy Festival’s Late Night KARLnival! is the show where comedians perform their darker, edgier material. You never know which performer might turn up on the night, faced by Galway’s hardest core comedy fans.
Spain has worked with some of the world's greatest comedians, including a recent tour with Kevin Bridges. He has also written for many comedians over the last decade or so, so you have been laughing at his jokes - even when you didn't realise it!
McQueen reached the final of the ‘Funny Funny’ comedy competition after just her third gig, and the semi-finals of the national new act competition So You Think You’re Funny? at the Edinburgh Festival in 2014.

More recently she has performed at The Vodafone Comedy Festival, Electric Picnic, and the Prague Comedy Festival. In 2019 she had two sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Described by Independent.ie as “a natural storyteller and fantastic comic, who has been in such high demand on both sides of the pond”, she is rightly regarded as one of Ireland’s top comics.
