The Spirit of Irish Dance Reimagined as New Monroe’s Dancers Set to Perform Every Monday at Monroe’s

The Monroe’s Dancers will set the floor alight every Monday at Monroe’s Tavern as part of a new weekly event at the vibrant venue, nestled between the West and Claddagh village, overlooking the Spanish Arch and Galway Bay.

This captivating trio of Irish dancers, Adam MacAogáin, Anna Carroll, and Sarah Lally, will join forces with resident band, Luna, for an enigmatic performance.

The Monroe's Dancers are not just skilled performers, they have a rich family history with Monroe’s that spans over 25 years, uniting generations with the historic venue.

Combining their passion for dancing with their connection to the venue, they bring an unparalleled sense of dedication and enthusiasm to each performance.

Together, they create an authentic and nostalgic atmosphere that patrons can feel as they watch the dancers weave their magic on stage.

As the rhythm of live music from Luna fills the air, dancers Adam, Anna, and Sarah transport the audience to a place where the spirit of Ireland comes alive.

Emerging from the corners of the Tavern in a ‘flash-mob’ style, they captivate the hearts of all who witness their performances with swift footwork, graceful movements, and driving energy.

From lively jigs to emotional reels, their repertoire covers the full spectrum of Irish dance, leaving the audience in awe of their talent and passion.

The event at Monroe's Tavern is set to become a much-anticipated weekly highlight, drawing locals and tourists alike to experience the authentic spirit of Irish culture and hospitality.

As the evening progresses, the atmosphere becomes electric, with cheers, claps, and even some tapping feet from the audience joining in the celebration of this cherished tradition.

It’s all part of the free line-up of live music and entertainment at Monroe’s Tavern, which takes place seven nights a week.

Other nightly acts include the musical stylings of Horse Kick, the Tav Jam Band, the Good Life, Feedback and Double Booked, alongside Irish folk stalwart Don Stiffe every Wednesday, the thrill of the West Sessions every Friday afternoon and the music of a bygone era with the Galway Bay Jazz band every Sunday lunchtime.
