The Complete Stone Roses To Recreate Pivotal Indie-Rockers Music at Monroe’s Live

With the seal of approval from the original band, The Complete Stone Roses are renowned for their reinvention of the work of the pivotal indie-rockers. So much so, they are often joined by bassist Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield – a member of the Stone Roses and Primal Scream – who has hailed the artistry, dedication and talent of this UK tribute act.

Having shared the stage with esteemed musicians such as Peter Hook (New Order ), Clint Boon and Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets ), and the legendary Bez (Happy Mondays ), The Complete Stone Roses will bring their energetic set to Monroe’s Live on Friday, June 23 at 11pm.

Their captivating performances carry forward the musical legacy of one of the UK’s most influential bands. The Stone Roses played a key role in shaping the indie music scene.

Timeless hits such as ‘Fools Gold,’ ‘I Am The Resurrection,’ and ‘I Wanna Be Adored’ continue to resonate with audiences, evoking memories of Madchester's golden era and the iconic Hacienda nightclub.

Over the years, The Complete Stone Roses have performed at major festivals, including Rock Ness, The Isle of White, Live at Loch Lomond, and Get Loaded. Internationally, they have played in Dubai, Bahrain, Holland, USA and Australia.

Now, Galway audiences will have a unique opportunity to relive the acclaimed back catalogue of the UK alt-rockers who took the world by storm through the lens of The Completes.

“We can’t wait to head back to Galway,” they explain.

“We’ve had some amazing gigs there through the years and the crowds have been second to none.”

With a current line-up that spans over a decade on the music scene, their experience and commitment to The Stone Roses is evident throughout their gigs.

Their devotion is such that they tracked down a rare Rickenbacker 3000 bass, the same model used by Mani, to create the authentic Roses experience.

As a result, fans can relive the sound, atmosphere and excitement crafted by the original band at the award-winning Monroe’s Live venue on Dominick Street, as their set list journeys through early Roses material to the classics.

“On the night expect all the Stone Roses biggest anthems,” they continue, “played live with a real passion for the songs!”

Tickets to The Complete Stone Roses on Friday, June 23 cost €20 and are available from monroes.ie
