Oughterard’s Courthouse Gallery is hosting four exhibitions throughout the summer, showing 71 artists.

The first of this summer showcase now open is entitled Full Circle and features 26 artists from the Oughterard Arts Group.

It will be followed by Terra Firma with 24 artists to July 9, while Natural Selection is an exhibition with 19 artists which runs from July 14 to 23. The final exhibition, The Feeling of Place, features Galway artists Fiona Cawley and Hilary Morley from July 28 to August 6.

The title of the opening exhibition is a reflection of the Oughtarard Arts group which has returned to their regular meetings in The Courthouse on Tuesday mornings. As a group they feel they have come “full circle” in reconnecting with each other through their meetups and workshops, and now look forward to welcoming visitors for the OCAP Summer Arts Programme.
