Galway Rowing Club crews enjoyed success at the recent Nottingham City Regatta.
The women's club 4+ claimed the A-final of their event, while there were B-final wins for the second women's club 4+ crew and men's J18 4X- rowed over the 2000 metre course.
On Sunday the event was ran over a 1000 metre distance, with success recorded in the women's club 4+, women's Novice 4X+, women's J18 8+, men's J18 4X-, and men's J18 2X.
The success follows strong performances at the second Grand League regatta of the season when a large contingent travelled to the Lough Rynn Regatta in Leitrim where the women's club coxed four continued their winning form from Skibbereen regatta, setting the tone for a good day's racing.
The victory was followed by the Women's Masters 4X+ who recorded their first win in the event, teaming up with Neptune RC, and winning their category.
There were strong performances in the Women's J18 8+ event with second and fourth behind strong Enniskillen and Commercial crews - the Galway girls still early in their development.
The club also recorded fine third place finishes in the women's J16 4X+ and 16 8+, as well as places for the men's Masters 4X+ and good performances from the men's J18 crews.
