The quartet consist of brothers Greg and Ger Dunne, alongside Daniel Allen and Ray Purcell. Together, they deliver pitch perfect harmonies, with rousing up-tempo instrumentals that dive at the heart of much-loved Irish ballads. Their charismatic and lively gigs are offset with delicate vocals for slower airs, ensuring they stay true to the heritage of the melodies.

They will be supported by the stunning sound of Mullingar singer-songwriter Meghan Bates, who creates soaring vocals and haunting originals based on her daily life experience. At a young age, Meghan is forging her own path on the Irish music scene with songs such as ‘Summer House’ and ‘4:30am’.

Inspired by Fleetwood Mac and Lana Del Rey, Meghan is proficient on both keyboard and guitar, bringing her talented acoustic stylings to the Monroe’s Live stage. Join Some One’s Sons with support from Meghan Bates on Saturday, May 27 at 8pm. Tickets cost €12 and are available from monroes.ie
