“Highly original and explosively funny” - The Sunday Times
It's Thursday - that means the return of the Tigh He-He Comedy Club at the Róisín Dubh!
This week’s special guest is comedian, writer, performer, dancer, matador, astronaut and liar - Kevin Gildea.
Gildea began his comedy career in the sketch group Mr Trellis, alongside Barry Murphy and Ardal O' Hanlon. They co-founded The Comedy Cellar, Dublin's longest-running comedy club. Kevin's mild manner and quirky absurdist viewpoint, create side-splittingly funny ruminations that have seen him perform all over the world. His Edinburgh Fringe shows regularly achieve critical acclaim and often sell-out. Kevin has also written for Irish Pictorial Weekly, appeared on The Stand Up Show and The Amnesty International Comedy Special, and he played Father Cave in an episode of Father Ted.
With support from Cork’s Paul Cowley, recent TedFest Toilet Duck Award-winner Chris Watts, and your host, FM104’s Cormac Moore.
